150) Woodshed: Hipster Cafe At Rangoon Road
Nestled at the end of Rangoon Road is Woodshed, an artsy and chic setting designed cafe with cavern styled entrance, bringing about a contemporary vibe to a mature district.
According to my source, this cafe was previously an interior decor and furniture firm. At the same time, the exact design is being retained.
Woodshed Cafe has high ceiling that increased the spaciousness of the venue together with mixed and matched furniture which provides a cozy and homely feel. Loved it!
Came here for some coffee, waffles ($11.9) and fries ($9.9).
I had latte ($5) while Kaleb had iced latte ($6).
Dislike lattes with poorly frothed and overheated milk that temporarily “kills” the flavour of the coffee and making drinking almost impossible.
However, with given time drinking became a little more pleasant, but it was just an average cuppa.
Waffle was a little dense yet fluffy, so it was palatable.
Truffle fries, couldn’t go wrong I guess?
Overall, a very nice, spacious and relaxing cafe to chill. WiFi is available too.
