101) Windowsill Pies
This cottage and woods themed cafe is indeed another worthy cafe to hangout and for pies lover! Instead of the getting a humble pie, you will be all sorts of assorted artisanal pies, but just not savoury pies. They have a wide range of flavours: Sweet banana mousse, S’mores, The Grasshopper Pie, just to name a few.
What’s on my menu were Coconut Lime Vodka ($8), S’mores ($8) and Piccolo ($4.50).
The base for the pies are tasty and crumbles off nicely. The creamy part was smooth, condense and flavourful. What’s unique was the vodka cubes in the Coconut Lime Vodka pie. All three flavours(sweet, bitter and tinge of sour) blended so nicely together.
To complement your pies, coffee are served with beans from Liberty Coffee, which is one of Singapore’s big time and popular roaster.
The layout of the cafe reminded me of kids fictional stories such as little red riding hood as I was transcended and felt like I was part of the story. Definitely a good place for your young kids as I believe they will love it!
In essence, this place specializes in pies and serves great coffees!
