105) The Coffee Daily
Finally, a visit to this cafe in Serangoon. Being the first in line has its perks and that’s being able to have a car park lot just right in front of the cafe!
I like cafes that retains the old while spicing things up with the new. The owners have retained the old window general structure of the space, the window grills and even the metal gates.
What’s on their menu is pretty much the same as most cafes. They have sandwiches, waffles with ice cream, and a selection of desserts like Chocolate Lava Cake and Rainbow Cake. A little too early for dessert, I had a latte instead. However, I was kind of disappointed with the coffee as it was flat. I expected better standard since they are called The Coffee Daily.
On a side note, they do have WiFi which is a saviour for most of us with limited data package.
Generally, a simple cafe with friendly staff which will make your visit a pleasant one.
