Nice and fanciful name for a cafe, thus I was expecting their coffee to be somewhat a “Revolution” to the average coffee compared to else where. I guess I am “wrong” about them. Still a decent choice of cafe though.
House blend of the day was “Bedok Reservoir” which consisted of beans from Ethiopia and Costa Rica which gave it a fruity (too me, it has a tinge of sweetness) and earthy note. At the same time, though it wasn’t flat, but I would prefer coffee with a stronger body.
Still is incomparable to Brawns and Brains. I wonder if it’s solely due to the portion of beans or is it the brewing method that makes them superior over all the cafes I’ve tried so far.
