117) Oz Specialty
Besides November 8 cafe, this is another Cafe located along Sin Ming Road at Thomson V which is slightly away from the bustling portion of Upper Thomson Road. Despite driving past the residential building many times, but I always fail to notice it. Nevertheless, I finally found it!
Earlier on, I was at Nasi Lemak Kukus which is further up of Upper Thomson (or further down) and wanted a peaceful and cooling spot to chill the night away. Thankfully, Oz Specialty was a perfect spot for it.
We ordered two lattes ($4.5) initially and decided an additional Carry Cake as it was super temptation. You will understand why when you scroll down for its picture. Coffee had great aroma, medium body and mild chocolaty and nutty flavour. Overall, it was light and was suitable for a night drink to end of the day. The carrot cake quite tasty too!
While you are here and may be bored of the typical Brazilian blend, you may like to request for coffee from Pacamara Roasters in Bangkok, Thailand, which is found to have the most perfect body, flavour and aroma suit for the local palate.
Lastly, service was great. Why? Because we were voluntarily and sincerely offered an Affogato as apology by the waitress as our orders were forgotten . As much as it’s on the house, we turn down the offer but deeply appreciated the gesture.
NOTE: CLOSED and CHANGED TO Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roaster (Singapore)
