Nam Nam Noodle Bar

This seems to be my cell group’s favourite eatery for lunch ever since we shifted to the Suntec Convention Centre for our weekly service.
Nam Nam Noodle Bar is from the Les Amis Group and headed by Nam Quoc Nguyen, chef of Annam Viet Restaurant. This casual eatery features iconic street favourites of Vietnam along with tantalising snacks and desserts. Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of oil, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and a selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, Vietnamese food is considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide. Thus, it is no different for Nam Nam as all their recipes are prepared healthy, without the use of MSG!
The menu comprises of French inspired savoury baguettes also known as Banh Mi and the famous Vietnamese Noodle Soup also known as Pho. Vietnamese street food are meant to be cheap, and Nam Nam Noodle Bar has definitely kept the prices very competitive – a bowl of pho is less than S$10, while the Banh Mi is only S$5.90. This is probably the main reason for their endless and inevitable long queues during peak hours!
