Moli Food Stall: Indian Food Stall At Bedok South Road
Moli Food Stall has to be one of my most visited Indian stall during those times when I stayed at Bedok South. Perfect as breakfast and brunch, this humble and unassuming unit at Block 16 Bedok Food Market & Food Centre serves traditional Indian food and snack.
At the same time, this was where I had my first taste of Masala Thosai. Fifteen years ago, it was $1 and fifteen years later it is $1.50.
What I like about their Masala Thosai is that thin crisp outer layer, soft and flavourful potato fillings and the neat presentation.
Combination of three gravy, mmm!
I ordered Appam ($1) which is a type of South Indian pancake which made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk.
It is also paired with date palm sugar or coconut palm sugar to give that additional sweet flavour.
I was pretty filled after having both Appam and one Masala Thosai that cost me $2.5!
Rounding up the meal was with a cup of Teh Tarik from next unit! Such are life’s simple pleasures!
