Mizzy Corner Nasi Lemak
I have heard many recommendations about the Nasi Lemak(s) at Changi Village Hawker Centre and about the “battle” of being the best Nasi Lemak. Finally, I’ve made my way here to investigate the folks tale about the perpetual long queue and good tasting plate of Nasi Lemak.
Arriving at the hawker centre, indeed there was a queue in front of Mizzy Nasi Lemak stall (not too sure where is the other Nasi Lemak stalls) and decided to hop on the band wagon. They have set A-F to choose from and add-on are available.
Firstly the rice and I was a little disappointed. Not that it’s lousy, but it didn’t live up to the rave that I’ve been hearing all these while. Next was the chilli. Thumbs up! Sweet, spicy and fragrant. Chicken wings were freshly fried, was crispy (batter a little too thick though) but not really that tasty.
Begedil and Otak were a flop, seriously.
I have described Mizzy Corner’s Nasi Lemak based on my expectations and experiences. However, it was still a decent plate of Nasi Lemak and I am sure many will still enjoy the eating experience while basking in the vibrant atmosphere of Changi Village Hawker Centre.
Next quest is to find out the other Nasi Lemak stalls! Btw, after I left, there was still a queue.
