Mitsuba Japanese Restaurant: Reasonably Priced Japanese Ala-Carte Buffet At The Central
Mitsuba Japanese Restaurant is located at level 3 of The Central and has a scenic view of Clarke Quay. Helm by executive chef Low Chee Hui, diners are spoilt of choices with their a-la-carte buffet menu of over 130 dishes. This restaurant was previously known as Mitsuba by Yurine Japanese Restaurant, nevertheless, interior decor is unchanged for authenticity.
In recent years, coming for buffets are usually tagged with an occasion. This time round was a birthday treat from my buddies! Really appreciate the love from these guys.
My view for dinner! Sorry for the poor quality.
Here we go, I shall let the picture do the talking!
First round of gainz!
Had this plate all to myself! Juicy mid wings sprinkled with salt!
Do not order this! Crispy, but meat was too dry!
Prawn and Mushroom tempura. Thought that the batter wasn’t crisp and a little too thick. Not the best I’ve eaten.
Hotate mentaiyaki @$12++ (3 pieces). This dish was served wrongly to us, but we received it with open arms! ha! Poor fellows who didn’t get to eat them. On a side note, we couldn’t find this dish in the buffet ala-carte menu, BONUS!!!
Golden Mushrooms wrapped with bacon! This was our 3rd serving!
Spider (Softshell crab) and California Temaki (handrolls) are my favourite. Good balance between rice and ingredients served with crispy seaweed.
Overall, this is a good place for Japanese buffet. Will rate it’s taste as above average and definitely good value ($36.9++).
