A typical day will be 2-3 slices of bread and a cup of beverage for breakfast before morning training. However, due to the changes in training schedule this week, I had the opportunity of having brunch today!!!

I have been hearing about “Lola’s Cafe” lately from a few friends, be it whether they want to explore or have been to the cafe. So I decided to give a shot with a fellow friend from the Judo National Team.

First thing to Thank God for was “reserving” the last lot which was situated directly in front of the cafe! Otherwise, parking will be a hassle.

Zooming in the menu, we ordered a Butter Croissant (somehow it can’t be found in the online menu), Lola’s Full Monty Breakfast as mains accompanied with Iced and Hot Latte. I totally enjoyed the latte as it was smooth, sweet and flavorful (It’s served with Ristretto by default). I’m speechless when I started on the mains, especially for the Butter Croissant. It was “magical” as there was a tinge of sweetness blending with the fragrance of the butter and crisp texture of the croissant. At the same time, I’ve never thought I would enjoy my salad so much before! There is something “special” in the dressing.

All in all, it was an awesome experience at Lola’s. I will definitely frequent Lola’s again when opportunity arises. I’m also gonna try their house blend for latte as the manager claims that it’s better than what was served today…so much anticipation!
