House Of Seafood: Exquisite & Wholesome Seafood, Especially Crabs
With humble beginnings in 2008 along Yio Chu Kang Road, House Of Seafood has expanded their territory to three other venues island wide! Often I will notice coupon deals from House Of Seafood for their crabs and since their crabs were voted as fans favourite, I decided to give it a shot!
I enjoy having family dinner, especially over weekends. So here’s a treat for my parents at the outlet in Joo Chiat.
The deal was price at $36 for 2 crabs (600-800g). If you are an avid crab fan like me, you will agree that this is a deal not to be missed!
Taa daa… award-winning Black Pepper Crabs x 2! Really tasted magical! The irresistible paste was smooth and had a good peppery blast infused with tinge of sweetness!
Key to making good food is to have fresh ingredients. The Q textured crab meat tasted of seafood sweetness, and the marriage with the pepper paste was a heavenly experience.
Other dishes were Mee Goreng, House Of Seafood trademark Tofu and Fried Prawn Roll.
Mee Goreng: Mildly sweetened with Tomato ketchup, spiced with sambal and wrapped with whiff of wok hei.
Tofu: Silky smooth egg tofu that melts in the mouth.
Fried Prawn Roll: Packed with meat instead of paste and with chunks of chestnut, this s probably the best I’ve tasted.
Overall, to say that I had a pleasant experience was understatement. It’s nice to enjoy the finer things of life once in a while.
