Habibie Seafood Muslim Tze Char At Block 829 Tampines Coffee Shop
Located at the 829 Coffee Shop, this Halal stall is almost an institution on its own as they serve all sort of dishes just like any other Chinese Tze Char stall. In essence, Habibie Seafood serves an extensive array of delicious Halal Chinese food!
Famished after training, the only thought in mind was to EAT!!! So everything that we ordered we medium and besar (large)!
We had the Hot Plate Tofu ($12) which came in standard portion. Interestingly, the gravy came in a separate bowl from the piping hot plate.
When being served, the tofu (accompanied with plenty of other ingredients) were adorned with the gravy and let to sizzle!
Kang Kong Belacan ($8 – Medium) had decent strength in their Belacan and Kang Kong was too cooked.
Sotong Char Kuey ($10 – Large) was a delicious finger food! Simple delight with a simple dish.
Lastly is the Stir Fried Onion Sliced Beef. Nothing to hype about, but it was tender enough, portion was sufficient to fill us.
Lastly, Lemon Chicken. Nicely and thinly battered chicken dressed with what seemed to be a mixture of lemon and sour plum sauce. It was light in flavour yet appetizing, thumbs up.
Check out the menu.
Habibie Seafood is a satisfying Halal Tze Char and I will definitely revisit this place.
