Dojo: Pork Burger Joint At Raffles Place
Not your typical Dojo, this place isn’t a venue for martial arts but a dedicated Pork Burger Joint in the CBD area.Walls laid with red bricks, this hipster and cozy eatery serves up a decent range of Pork based delish food dishes. At the same time, this place is suitable for groups, families and takes reservations.
Since it was my first visit, I went for the kill with their signature burger, Big Boss ($13). The burger was stacked with onion ring, sunny side up, bacon and pork patty! Freshness of the patty was guaranteed as every batch of patties are done on the day itself.
The patty was flavourful and served in a decent portion, however, I would preferred it to be a little “tougher” and less minced just for more texture and shiokness!
While enjoying my burger, I was kena (denotes that something has happened) paparazzi-ed by my friend.
On the other hand, my friend had Kaiju ($12). I didn’t try it, but I reckon that it is of similar standard (equally good) to Big Boss.
Despite highly recommended by the boss to have the Pork Grillets ($6), complimenting my main was the Kong Ba Bao ($6)! It was insanely good! Instead of the tradition white fluffy bun, it was deep-fried!
Don’t you know that great inventions are usually birth forth from crazy ideas? This is one of them!
Lastly, this eatery doesn’t have GST nor tax, as such everything is self-service. Yes, literally self-service, pretty cool huh?!
So what are you waiting for? Pop by here and witness the goodness for yourself! “May The Pork Be With You”
