127) A For Arbite
Revisited this cafe for a group gathering and the outcome was fantastic! It was a gathering with my fellow sports athletes from Athlete SG where we shared about how our Faith and Sports mattered in our life. Indeed, it was a very encouraging and enriching session and I made some new friends too!
This time round, we had their mains and desserts. Gotta say that A For Arbite is pretty good with their food menu. I had the Egg In A Box paired with Long Black with Rwanda beans that cost $20.
This pairing was a recommendation by Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee (which they have a cafe too) which is A For Arbite’s supplier. The poached egg was firm on the outside and yolk was molten, amazing skills there! I’ve gotta admit that I have a long way to learn and appreciate Long Black though.
We also had their Oreo based dessert that was foam on the top with the crushed oreo as the base. Unique way of preparation! Dozen of zesty hot wings and smell-o-so-good thick Truffle Fries ($13) were on our menu too!
Overall, A For Arbite is really a nice place to chill! With nice music playing subtly in the background, friendly waiters/waitresses at your service, luxury of space and good food, A For Arbite is highly recommended!
